Face Coverings on the Coach

After communication between the general and route committees, it has been decided, that in line with government policy, wearing of masks on the coach will be recommended but not compulsory.

However there are caveats which are:-

  • You must have the permission of the person in the seat next to you, to remove your mask

  • Masks must be worn any time you move about the coach.

Our original policy of mandating masks on the coach was in line with Travellers Choice, whose policy has since changed.

The committee members realise some will be disappointed with this decision although others will be pleased.

Thursday Socials

The Club will resume presentations on Thursday evenings commencing

9th September.

View the programme here.

Due to problems with our usual venue, the talks will be in a room at St Paul's Church on the corner of Abbey Rd and Hawcoat Lane, not in the hall on the corner of Wheatclose Rd.

Parking at the Church is limited and reserved for speakers and those with limited mobility. Cars can be parked on Hawcoat Lane, behind the petrol station on Grasmere Rd, or in the car park at the former venue.
