"A recent walk along the Lancaster Canal was another lovely hot and sunny day out.
We walked south from Tewitfield along the canal, to Carnforth, and back. On the way, birdsong was continuous, the wildflowers were pretty, and farmers were haymaking.
We were surprised at the amount of traffic, on the nearby M6."
